My regular series of candid portraits with food writers and their game changing ingredients has been a staple part of Waitrose magazine’s re-designed look.
The brief: to shoot the process of each recipe, combining loose, unstaged portraits with busy, playful food.
Food writer Neil Ridley on Crisps: ‘Think of crisps not merely as a snack, but a crunchy, salty canvas for building something a little more indulgent. Start layering on accompaniments. Pop the assemblage under the grill and you have something resembling a refreshed take on loaded nachos’.
